This document provides information on how clubs can achieve the Distinguished Club Award. This award encourages clubs to promote quality, ensure productive meetings, provide structure and guidance and increase the enthusiasm of the club.
Guidance on Retention of Club Records
Every Toastmasters club needs to keep records. The mandatory items and the minimum length of time these items should be kept as part of club records is communicated in the link below. Guidance on Allowable Speech Content
Members often hear “through the grapevine” that speeches concerning politics, religion and sex are forbidden by Toastmasters International because “such controversial subjects are not appropriate.” This is not true. Toastmasters International does not prohibit any speech topic, content or language. Read more in the link below.
